TAILORING CENTRE
As a police welfare measure a tailoring center is being run by police. Police families are involved in this tailoring center for stitching police uniforms. Instead of outsourcing the stitching of uniform from outside,police families are involved and stitching charges are paid to them,getting employment benefits to police families.
FREE RATION TO POLICEMEN
| Free ration to policemen from the rank of police Constable to Police Sub Inspectors is being supplied every month by the Government of Karnataka.Free ration is being catered to 2876 personnels. |

| MEDICAL INSPECTION ROOM |

A medical inspection room is set up at Jalpuri to take care of minor ailments among the personnels.Qualified government doctors attend to the personnels where free medicines are disbursed as in government hospital.Health check-up camps are also organised regularly with the co-operation of private hospitals |
| CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY: A combined Police co-operative society for Mysore district,Mysore City & Chamarajanagar district Police is in existence.Totally 4030 police personnels are members of this society.The personnel can raise loans at a cheaper rate of interest without procedural hazzles.This prevents personnels to approach banks & other private parties who charge a very high rate of interest. |
